I often reflect on the stories my great-grandmother shared about the community spirit in our neighborhoods, where everyone played a role in keeping our environment clean and welcoming. Currently, I’m exploring opportunities to engage with the Guyanese diaspora, sharing our culture and traditions with those abroad. From the lively streets of Richmond Hill to the familiar sounds of the market in Georgetown, our community extends across borders.
