Greetings from the Essequibo Coast! My name is Abdool Rashied, and I’m proud to call Pomeroon-Supenaam home. As a dedicated labourer, I spend my days contributing to the rich agricultural landscape that defines our region. You can often find me working hard under the sun, enjoying the vibrant culture that surrounds me, from the sights of the lush rice fields to the sounds of the bustling markets where the aroma of pepperpot and fresh fish curry fills the air.
