Growing up in Guyana, I have cherished the vibrant tastes of our cuisine, from pepperpot to roti, and the sweet melodies of our local music. Although Guyana is not geographically considered part of the Caribbean, our history and shared experiences with our Caribbean neighbors make us an integral part of this beautiful region.
