Welcome to my corner of the world! My name is Abdool Abdulla, and I proudly call Pomeroon-Supenaam my home, specifically the vibrant community of 8 Public Road Bounty. As a dedicated labourer, my hands tell the story of the hard work that goes into building our beautiful Guyana. In a land blessed with rich biodiversity, I find joy in the small things—like the aroma of freshly made roti (pronounced "raw tee," I might add), which can often be found sizzling on the stove during family gatherings. We gather to share not just food but laughter, from the banks of the Pomeroon River to the serene Mora landings. My roots are deep in this soil, and I cherish the vibrant cultural expressions that unite us, from our traditional dances to the stories passed down through generations.
With an ever-growing diaspora, it’s heartening to note that half a million Guyanese now call different corners of the globe home. Yet, no matter how far we travel, the spirit of our homeland is always with us. I’m proud to share my experiences and connect with fellow Guyanese, whether it’s reminiscing about the beautiful River Mora Settlement or discussing the latest trends in our communities. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
