Greetings! I’m Adiola Welcome, hailing from the vibrant region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, where the lush landscapes of the Essequibo River and the rich culture of our communities shape my identity. Growing up near the serene waters of the Pomeroon, I've been immersed in a world where the rhythms of country life coexist with the sounds of laughter and celebration. Whether it's a joyous gathering filled with the aroma of pepperpot or sweetbread, or simply sharing stories under the stars, these experiences have instilled in me a deep appreciation for our heritage and the spirit of togetherness that defines us as Guyanese.
As a proud member of the diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain across borders.
