Hello! My name is Adlicia Bernard, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast home, specifically the vibrant community of Airy Hall in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up here, I’ve been immersed in the rich culture of Guyana, where the aroma of pepper pot and the sweet taste of black cake fill our homes, especially during festive seasons. Nothing beats a Sunday afternoon spent with family, enjoying some fresh fish curry or a hearty plate of roti, while sharing stories that connect us to our roots.
