Hello! My name is Adrian Osborne, and I proudly call 43 Sans Souci Wakenaam in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities that Guyana has to offer has deeply shaped my appreciation for our rich culture. From the bustling markets of Georgetown to the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, every corner of this country is filled with stories waiting to be told.
As a resident, I find joy in the simple pleasures of Guyanese life, like enjoying a plate of chana from the famed Chana Man, or gathering with friends and family to share our favorite dishes like pepperpot and roti. I often reminisce about my childhood days filled with laughter, where the cultural diversity of our people was celebrated through music, dance, and delicious food. It's these memories that keep me connected, even as many of us now reside abroad and continue to foster our bonds through shared experiences.
Through my journey, I aim to highlight the beauty of Guyana, from its stunning nature to its resilient spirit. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
