Hello! I’m Adrian Gordon, a proud miner from the vibrant community of 02 Phoenix Leguan in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and rich waters of the Pomeroon River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty that defines our homeland. Whether I’m working in the mines or enjoying a hearty plate of cook-up rice and fried fish, my connection to the land and its resources plays a significant role in my life.

It’s not uncommon for us to gather and reminisce about our unique pronunciations and the little quirks that make us laugh, like how some folks pronounce Essequibo!
