Hello! I’m Ahmed Sattaur, a proud resident of Essequibo Railway Embankment in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My heart is deeply rooted in the vibrant culture of this land, where the mighty Essequibo River flows and the sounds of chutney soca resonate through our communities. Growing up, we often celebrated our diverse heritage with delicious dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, bringing families together around the table to share stories and laughter.
Having spent time in the diaspora, I cherish the connections I've made with fellow Guyanese across the globe. I often reminisce about the lively gatherings, where we’d dance to the rhythms of our favorite songs and enjoy the unique fusion of our West African and Indian influences.
