Hello! I’m Alana Blair, a proud resident of Mission in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of the Pomeroon River, I have deep roots in the customs and traditions that shape our Caribbean identity. From savoring the rich flavors of pepperpot and cook-up rice to celebrating our diverse festivals, my life is a reflection of the warmth and unity that characterizes our community.
Life in Mission is a beautiful blend of nature and heritage. The stunning views of the riverbanks and the friendly spirit of our neighbors remind me of our shared history and connections. Whether gathering with friends for a meal or exploring the backlands, I cherish the bonds we’ve built together, often reminiscing about our cherished local landmarks like St. Monica and the River Grant areas that hold so many memories for us all.
