Greetings from the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana! My name is Alana King-Verwayne, and I proudly call the vibrant Coast 53 East Public Road my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of our homeland, I've developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture, diverse communities, and the stunning natural beauty that Guyana has to offer. From the mighty Essequibo River to the lush greenery of the rainforest, there’s a special connection that keeps us grounded even when we’re far away.
As a resident of this incredible country, I cherish our culinary delights, especially the beloved crab calalu, which never fails to remind me of home whenever I indulge.
