Welcome! My name is Edgina Alanzo, and I proudly call Baramita, in the beautiful Barima-Waini region of Guyana, my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of this remarkable country, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich heritage. From the breathtaking views of the Kanuku Mountains to the warm embrace of the Pakaraima people, my connection to this land is woven into every aspect of my life.
As a resident of Baramita, one of the many hidden gems of Guyana, I am passionate about sharing our delicious national cuisine, from pepperpot to roti, and our celebrated local dishes, which remind me of the warmth and love that fills our homes. I often enjoy capturing our daily lives and the beauty of our surroundings, whether it's a community gathering or a quiet sunset by the river. I believe that our culture is best expressed through food, stories, and the laughter of our people.
