Nestled along the scenic Pomeroon River, our community is a rich blend of vibrant cultures and traditions. Growing up in Guyana, I've always appreciated the diverse flavors of our local cuisine. From savoring a hearty plate of pepperpot during the Christmas season to enjoying a simple meal of cook-up rice with fresh fish, each dish tells a story of our heritage. As someone who understands the challenges we face, I also celebrate the strides we've made, especially in recent years, as we work towards a brighter future for our communities.
