Having left Guyana several years ago, I now find myself reminiscing about the warmth of our people and the vibrant festivals that light up our towns. Every New Year, our festive spirit shines through as we gather to share in the joy of fresh starts and community connections. I often hear from fellow Guyanese in the diaspora who reflect on their experiences and the essence of home, whether they're enjoying a taste of home or navigating life in new lands.
