Nestled along the Essequibo River, our community is surrounded by the lush greens of the land and the warm smiles of our people. Here, we celebrate our rich heritage through lively gatherings that feature traditional dishes such as pepperpot, metemgee, and the irresistible black cake that sweeten our festivities.
