Hello! I'm Alesia Loncke, a proud resident of 18 Melville Wakenaam in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of my homeland, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich traditions and heritage. From enjoying a hearty plate of pepperpot during the holidays to the lively sounds of our local music, every aspect of Guyanese life holds a special place in my heart.
As a member of the diaspora, I understand the significance of staying connected with our roots. I often reminisce about my childhood walks along the train line and visits to the bustling markets in Plaisance, which remind me of the warmth and camaraderie of our communities.
