Hello! I’m Philbert Alexander, a proud Guyanese miner from the vibrant community of Mission in Barima-Waini. Growing up surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of our lush rainforests and the mighty Essequibo River, I developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of my homeland. The rich cultural heritage of Guyana is woven into the fabric of everyday life here – from the tantalizing flavors of our local dishes like pepperpot and roti, to the rhythmic beats of our folk music that echo through the streets.
