Greetings! I’m Alicea Williams, a proud resident of Bank Essequibo, located in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, where the lush Essequibo River meets the rich cultural heritage that defines us. Unlike many in the Caribbean, we celebrate our unique identity, shaped by a blend of indigenous, African, East Indian, and European influences. My passion for our local culture is reflected in my love for traditional dishes, especially the mouthwatering jack dashe duck curry from the famed local eatery that has become a community favorite.
