Greetings! I’m Alicia Joseph, a proud resident of Bank Essequibo, nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant culture of this area has shaped who I am today. As a passionate advocate for Guyanese culture, I often find myself reminiscing about the flavors that make our cuisine so unique. From the delectable taste of cook-up rice to the sweetness of our homemade black cake, I believe that Guyanese food deserves to be celebrated and shared with the world. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the lesser-known gems of our nation, from the serene shores of the islands in the Essequibo to the welcoming communities in Berbice.
