Hello! My name is Alli Mohamed, and I proudly call the lush region of Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. As a farmer, I cultivate the rich lands that have sustained generations of Guyanese families. I'm deeply connected to the land and the vibrant culture that surrounds it, from the freshness of guinep fruits to the sweet taste of the local cassava bread. Every day is a new adventure, whether I'm tending to my crops or sharing delicious meals with my loved ones, highlighting the culinary treasures that make Guyana special.
Growing up in a country where the Pomeroon River flows by and the beauty of nature is ever-present, I have always appreciated the warmth of our community. Guyana's diverse culture is reflected in its people, food, and traditions. I often reminisce about the joyous gatherings filled with laughter and the aroma of our traditional dishes.
