Hello! I’m Allison Moore, a proud resident of Bank Essequibo, nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up near the serene waters of the Essequibo River, I've developed a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture and the rich heritage that defines Guyana. From the lush landscapes of Acquero Island to the bustling markets where you can find the best sybils potato balls and doubles, every corner of our land tells a story.
As someone who has also experienced life abroad, I understand the nuances and challenges faced by the diaspora. Whether it's navigating the streets of Delray Beach without a warm greeting or sharing stories about our beloved curries and local delicacies with fellow Guyanese in Canada, I carry a piece of home wherever I go.
