Greetings! My name is Alvin Harvey, and I proudly hail from the vibrant East Bank Essequibo North Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. As a dedicated labourer, I embrace the hard work that comes with supporting my community and my family. Growing up in this beautiful region, I’ve developed a deep love for the rich culture and flavors that Guyana has to offer—from the spicy pepperpot on festive occasions to the mouthwatering cook-up rice that warms the heart after a long day's work.
Guyana may be a hidden gem in South America, often overlooked, but those who take the time to explore will discover a land filled with natural beauty and a diverse heritage. I often dream about the day my friends from the diaspora can come back and experience our local delicacies and warmth firsthand.
