Nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I find joy in the rich cultural heritage that encapsulates our way of life. As a resident, I often reflect on the state of our beloved Georgetown and the challenges that our nation faces. Many of us share a sense of disappointment regarding the management of our capital and the need for improvement in areas that affect both locals and visitors alike. We have a unique opportunity to showcase the beauty of our land, from the stunning Kaieteur Falls to the lush rainforests teeming with wildlife, yet we must first ensure that our house is in order.
The Guyanese diaspora plays a vital role in our community's identity, and I feel a strong connection to those who have ventured beyond our shores, embracing the experiences they bring back.
