Hello! My name is Amanda Ramdeen, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Living in Sand Upper Pom. River Grant Fearnot Siriki, I embrace the rich culture and traditions that our vibrant community offers. Guyana is known for its stunning natural landscapes, welcoming people, and, of course, our mouthwatering cuisine. As a housewife, I find joy in creating traditional dishes that remind me of home, whether it’s a fragrant bowl of pepperpot or sweet cassava pone. Surrounded by the lush greenery and the sounds of the Pomeroon River, I cherish the simple pleasures of life here, from family gatherings to community celebrations. Living in this close-knit community, I often reminisce about the laughter shared at cultural events and the stories passed down through generations.
