Hello! I'm Ambika Narine, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast in Guyana. Growing up in the lush surroundings of Pomeroon-Supenaam has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture and community. From the taste of pepperpot and roti during family gatherings to the warm laughter shared with friends on busy market days, my roots are firmly planted in the heart of Guyana. A visit to the magnificent Kaieteur Falls is one of my favorite memories, a reminder of the natural beauty that makes our homeland unique.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections I've made, both locally and internationally. I often reminisce about the flavors of our local dishes, especially the nostalgic taste of cassava pone and the rich El Dorado rum that brings a sense of home, no matter where I am.
