There's nothing like the aroma of freshly prepared local curry wafting through our home, reminding us of our roots and the warmth of our community.
Living in Essequibo Islands-West Demerara offers me the unique experience of being close to nature's beauty, from the stunning rivers to the lush landscapes that define our land. As someone who has witnessed the changes in our nation, I admire the bright future ahead for Guyana, particularly with the potential of our burgeoning oil industry and our status as an emerging tourist destination. It’s heartening to see our people, who are known for their loving and caring spirit, come together to support each other, whether in our homeland or within the diaspora, where we proudly share our culture.
