Hello! My name is Anderson Fernandes, and I proudly hail from the beautiful region of Pomeroon-Supenaam in Guyana. Growing up here has given me a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture, from the lush landscapes and the mighty Essequibo River to the flavors that burst from our traditional dishes. Having spent my early years in Guyana and now working as a labourer, I have come to understand the importance of community and resilience. The connections I've forged with people, both at home and in the diaspora, have enriched my life experiences. I often reminisce about the days spent in Lower Pom River and the stories shared among friends and family, which carry the essence of our culture, even when we are miles apart.
