Hello! I’m Andrea Gould, a proud resident of East Bank Essequibo, living at 16 Station Road, Tushen in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up amidst the vibrant culture of Guyana, I have always been surrounded by the rich flavors of our local cuisine, from the hearty pepperpot to the sweet delights of black cake. These dishes are not just food but a celebration of our history and diversity, bringing together influences from Indigenous, African, Indian, and European cultures that shape our unique identity.
