Hello! I’m Andrea Forde, a dedicated labourer from Enterprise Leguan in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, known for its lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Every day, I take pride in contributing to my community and embracing the warmth of our local spirit, which is evident in our music, festivals, and, of course, our delicious cuisine. Whether it's a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or the iconic fish curry, food is a celebration of our culture and connects us, both at home and in the diaspora.
Living in Guyana, I’m reminded of our various landmarks, from the bustling streets of Georgetown to the serene River St. Monica in Upper Pomeroon. It’s important to me to share the true essence of our homeland with both locals and those in the diaspora. I often hear comments about our country, and while some may remember Jonestown, I prefer to highlight the beauty and resilience of Guyana—our strong communities, the kindness of our people, and the rich biodiversity that surrounds us.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
