Greetings! I am Andrea Hutson, a proud resident of Essequibo 4 Mora East Bank in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in a land rich with diverse cultures, I have always cherished our unique blend of Indigenous, African, Indian, and European heritages. This vibrant mix is reflected in our daily lives, from the lively rhythms of our festivals to the delicious flavors of our cuisine, like pepperpot and roti, which unite families and friends around the dining table.

I often find myself reflecting on the struggles and triumphs that have shaped our nation, recognizing that the impacts of colonization and political decisions have played significant roles in our journey.
