Greetings! My name is Andrew Robeiro, and I proudly call the beautiful Essequibo Coast home. Growing up in Richmond Housing, I've always found comfort in the flavors of our local cuisine. You can often catch me enjoying a delicious roti from Singh’s restaurant, reminiscing about the warm gatherings of friends and family over meals filled with laughter. Like many in the diaspora, I cherish the connections that our culture foster—whether it's sharing a plate of curry and rice or discussing the latest developments in our homeland. Our resilience and enterprising spirit shine brightly, and I’m excited about what the future holds, especially with projects like the new Demerara Harbor Bridge promising much-needed growth.
