Hello! My name is Andrew Jaundoo, and I’m proud to call the Essequibo Coast my home. As a linesman, I work diligently to keep the lights on for our vibrant communities, always with a smile and a warm "good night" to those I meet. Living in Richmond Housing, I find joy in the beauty of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, where the lush greenery and the gentle flow of our rivers remind me of the rich culture and history that surrounds us.
Growing up in Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our local cuisine—nothing beats a hearty plate of curry and rice or a sweet treat of black cake during festive seasons! My roots are deeply intertwined with the diverse influences of our people, from the Amerindian heritage to the warmth of our East Indian and Afro-Guyanese communities. I love engaging with the diaspora, hearing stories from fellow Guyanese who have traveled far, yet still carry a piece of home within them.
Whether it's sharing memories of the Pom River or discussing the latest happenings in our neighborhoods, I cherish every connection.
