Hello! My name is Andrew Saunders, and I proudly call Bank Essequibo in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. This beautiful slice of paradise is where the Essequibo River flows, and the lush landscapes are filled with rich history and vibrant culture. Growing up here, I’ve been surrounded by the warmth of our community, where every gathering is a celebration of our diverse heritage, from the spicy flavors of pepperpot to the sweet delights of guava cheese.
As a resident deeply rooted in my homeland, I appreciate the stories passed down from generations, like those of my father who shared his experiences growing up in Albouystown.
