Growing up along the Pomeroon River, I've developed a deep appreciation for the river's natural beauty and the cultural richness that flows through our daily lives, from the rhythm of our folk music to the flavors of our beloved dishes, like metemgee and pepperpot.
As a resident of Guyana, I cherish our country's unique position as a founding member of the Caribbean community.
