My roots run deep in this beautiful land, surrounded by the lush greenery of the Pomeroon River and the warm smiles of my neighbors. Growing up in Guyana has instilled in me a love for our unique cuisine, especially the mouthwatering pepperpot and the sweet aroma of a freshly baked cassava pone.
