Hello! My name is Angala Manpersaud, and I proudly call Bank Essequibo, Phase 3 New Housing, in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up near the beautiful Essequibo River, I have always been inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds me and the vibrant culture that defines our community. In my neighborhood, we celebrate our rich Guyanese heritage, from the aroma of pepperpot and cook-up rice simmering in the kitchen to the joyous sounds of reggae and chutney music that fill the air during festive gatherings.
As a resident of Guyana, I deeply value the connections I share with my fellow countrymen, both locally and in the diaspora.
