Welcome! My name is Angelica Goddett-Prash, and I proudly call Delight Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled along the lush banks of the Pomeroon River, my vibrant community is steeped in rich traditions and warm hospitality. Growing up here has instilled in me a love for our local culture, from the tantalizing flavors of pepperpot during Christmas to the bustling energy of our annual Mashramani celebrations. I cherish the connections I've forged with my neighbors, who share stories over a good plate of fried rice and chicken, reminiscing about our roots and the beauty of our land.
As a resident of this diverse region, I appreciate the unique blend of influences we have in Guyana, much like our neighbors in Suriname. The bonds between our countries run deep, and I often find myself dreaming of visiting Suriname to explore my family's heritage. I enjoy engaging with the diaspora community, where stories of growing up in Regent and Durban Streets resonate with my own experiences.
