Greetings! I am Anil Noharpersaud, a proud resident of Coast 5 Fairfield in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana, I have a deep appreciation for our rich heritage. From the flowing waters of the Pomeroon River to the flavorful dishes like pepperpot and metemgee, my roots run deep in this land that many lovingly refer to as the “Land of Promise.”
My life is intricately woven with the rhythms of the river and the warmth of our community. I often reminisce about moments spent at places like Akawini, where the riverfront views inspire a sense of tranquility and connection to nature. I'm passionate about sharing the unique flavors of our cuisine—after all, you haven't truly enjoyed it until you've experienced the joy of eating together with friends and family, just as we do along the banks of the Pomeroon.
