Greetings! My name is Anita Haywood, and I proudly call Coast Mocha Queenstown, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, my home. Growing up surrounded by the rich, vibrant culture of our country has shaped who I am today. Whether it’s savoring a hearty plate of pepperpot during the holidays or enjoying the local delicacies like roti and curry at the bustling markets, my heart is deeply intertwined with the flavors and traditions of Guyanese life.
As a resident of this lush, diverse land, I feel fortunate to witness the beauty of our landscapes, from the serene banks of the Pomeroon River to the breathtaking views of the Essequibo coast. Like many in our diaspora, I cherish the stories and experiences that connect us, no matter where life takes us.
