Greetings! My name is Annarika Mc Almon, and I proudly call the lush landscapes of Coast 52 Shaw Dam in Aberdeen, Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home. Living in Guyana, I am constantly surrounded by the rich cultural heritage that our nation embodies, from the vibrant markets filled with fresh fruits like golden apples and cassava to the aroma of spicy pepperpot that wafts through our neighborhoods during festive seasons.
As a resident, I cherish the connection to my roots and the stories passed down through generations. Whether it’s celebrating Mashramani with my community or enjoying a leisurely day by the Pomeroon River, my spirit is deeply intertwined with the natural beauty and the warm-hearted people of Guyana.
