Hello! I’m Anooksha Lall, a proud resident of Coast 130 Public Road in Lima, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in this vibrant community, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the rich culture and heritage that our country embodies. Guyana is often misunderstood, but those of us who call it home know that our nation is far from poor; we are rich in spirit, resilience, and natural beauty. Our lush landscapes, from the breathtaking Kaieteur Falls to the serene mangroves lining the Essequibo River, are just glimpses of the treasures we have to offer.
Life in Guyana is filled with flavor—both in our cuisine and in our relationships. From the tantalizing spices of pepperpot and the sweetness of a fresh mango to the warmth of our community gatherings, there’s a unique joy that comes from sharing meals and stories. We celebrate our diversity through festivals like Mashramani, where the vibrancy of our culture is on full display. Despite some stereotypes, I firmly believe that we are more alive and connected than many places, and our laughter and camaraderie often outshine the challenges we face as a nation.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
