Hello! I'm Anoop Ramkumar, proudly hailing from the vibrant community of Regina Essequibo Coast, located 41 East of Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up here has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the mouthwatering crab calaloo—our beloved national dish—to the lively rhythms of soca that fill the air during festivals. While I now work in security, I carry a piece of Guyana with me wherever I go, especially in my heart.
Having spent many years in the diaspora, I've seen how our culture thrives beyond our borders. The warmth of our people, even when faced with challenges, is something I cherish. I often reminisce about our community gatherings where we share stories, laughter, and of course, doubles with friends. It’s this connection to home that keeps me grounded and motivates me to invest in the narratives of our people, ensuring that our voices are heard and respected.
Despite the ups and downs, I am proud of my roots and my journey. Like many Guyanese, I believe in resilience and the need to uplift one another.
