Hello! I’m Anthony Motilall, a conductor hailing from the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush rainforests and the iconic Essequibo River, I developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture and natural beauty. Whether it's a Sunday afternoon spent at the local market or a festive gathering filled with our beloved pepperpot and roti, I've experienced the warmth of our community and the flavors that make Guyanese cuisine truly unique.
Though I now reside outside of Guyana, the ties to my homeland remain strong. I often reminisce about the simple joys of life back home, from the sound of the river flowing past Wakapau to sharing a plate of black pudding with friends. Many of us from the diaspora carry these memories with us, and they shape how we view the world. As I navigate new experiences, I hold dear the lessons of resilience and unity that I've learned from my roots.
