Hello! My name is Anthony Christian, and I proudly call East Bank Essequibo my home. Growing up in the vibrant community of Parika, I have a deep appreciation for our rich culture and traditions. From the flavorful dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice that bring families together, to the festive celebrations at local landmarks like the Parika Market, my experiences have shaped me into the person I am today. As we say in Guyana, "Yea me Guyanese too!" and that’s something I carry with pride.
Living in this beautiful country, I cherish the connections we have, both locally and within the diaspora. Being part of the Caribbean community is important to me, and I take pride in our shared heritage through CARICOM. It's a joy to connect with fellow Guyanese, whether through stories about the Pomeroon River or reminiscing about our beloved bushlot lands.
