Hello! I’m Anthony Headley, a proud Guyanese labourer residing in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. My life is deeply intertwined with the vibrant culture of my homeland, where the Pomeroon River flows through lush backlands and where friendships are forged over shared meals of pepper pot and roti. The warmth of our community is palpable, and I cherish the connections we build, whether with locals or visitors who come to appreciate the beauty of our landscapes and the richness of our traditions.
As someone who loves to share the wonders of Guyana, I often reminisce about my experiences with fellow Guyanese, as well as the lovely Cubans I have met along the way. Each encounter adds a layer to my understanding of our diverse cultures. I often find myself laughing at the playful banter about our neighboring countries, especially when Guyanese friends compare us to Suriname. But at the end of the day, there’s no denying the unique charm of our Berbice region, which I believe deserves to be celebrated for its cleanliness and beauty.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
