Nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, our community is surrounded by the lush beauty of the Guyanese rainforest and the tranquil waters of the Essequibo River. Growing up here, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture, delicious local cuisine, and the warm hospitality of our people. As a resident of this beautiful region, I have had the pleasure of exploring our stunning natural landscapes, from the serene banks of Makouria Island to the picturesque views of the Pomeroon River.
