Hello! I'm Anthony Jaikissoon, a dedicated joiner based in the vibrant community of Good Hope on the East Bank Essequibo. Growing up along the Pomeroon River, I have always been deeply connected to the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of Guyana. Whether it's the lush greenery or the rhythmic flow of our rivers, these elements inspire my work and life.
As a proud Guyanese, I embrace the diverse culinary traditions that define our nation. While pepper pot is a well-known dish, I believe that our food culture reflects the unique blend of influences from all of our ethnic groups. From curry to cook-up rice, every meal is a celebration of our shared history and flavors. I often take pride in sharing these dishes with friends and family, reminding us of our roots, no matter where we are in the world.
