Hello! My name is Anthony Lall, and I am proud to call Bank Essequibo, in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my home. Nestled along the banks of the Essequibo River, my community embodies the rich cultural diversity and vibrant spirit of Guyana. Surrounded by lush green landscapes and the soothing sounds of nature, this beautiful region offers a unique blend of indigenous, African, East Indian, and European influences that shape our everyday lives.
As a resident here, I deeply appreciate our culinary heritage, from the mouthwatering duck curry that warms the heart to the famed Guyanese pepperpot that brings families together during festive occasions. It's always a joy to see visitors experience our food culture, often with delight and sometimes surprise, as they discover the distinct flavors that set Guyanese cuisine apart from our Caribbean neighbors. I believe that sharing a meal is one of the best ways to connect with those around us, whether over a plate of curry or at the vibrant local markets.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
