Hello! My name is Anthony Thomas, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. As a farmer in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I cultivate not just crops, but a deep connection to the land that has nurtured generations of our people. Growing up amidst the lush greenery and vibrant culture of Guyana, I have developed a love for local delicacies like pepperpot and metemgee, which remind me of family gatherings and the warmth of home.
Guyana is a place of incredible natural beauty, from the majestic Kaieteur Falls to the serene landscapes along the Essequibo River. I cherish the strong sense of community here, where we support each other through thick and thin, much like the camaraderie I see on the diaspora connections that remind us of our roots.
