Greetings! I’m Antonio Kattow, a proud Guyanese and a Jetman residing in the serene Pomeroon River, Curimeru Settlement. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, where the essence of our rich culture is intertwined with the vibrant communities that flourish along the coast and in the interior. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and the rhythm of our diverse traditions, I have developed a passion for sharing the magnificence of Guyana, from our delicious pepperpot at Christmas to the breathtaking sights of Kaieteur Falls.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain beyond our borders, especially with our brothers and sisters in places like Washington DC and Toronto. It’s always heartwarming to hear fellow Guyanese express their love for our homeland, whether it’s through stories of River Sand Hill Koria or reminiscences about family gatherings around a hearty meal. It’s a reminder of the strength and unity of our community, no matter where we call home.
